It hasn’t, don’t worry, Anon!

And, ironically, they haven’t. They have nothing that could be considered a traumatic event. However, Edmund did have a negative experience that affected his life, but whether to consider it a straight-up trauma is up to the reader/player. Unfortunately, I can’t say more than that since it’s important for his character and is a major spoiler.

I wanted to say Niall at first, but then I realised that they kinda all enjoy it a lot, they just haven’t tried it yet. Niall and Ned are at the top somewhere, then Edmund, and then Liam. Ned’s tits are the biggest! Sorry, the fattest, smh. They’re also the hardest out of all of them, but they’re also toned and rather pleasant to touch. You can see the outline of his boobs a little even if he wears an oversized T-shirt.

Next one is Niall. His aren’t exactly that nice to touch, but they’re still fine and nicely defined. But he needs to wear tight clothes if we want to see their outline, otherwise they aren’t very visible. His nipples are pinkish because he’s a ginger.

Liam doesn’t really have anything interesting going on, but his nipples are surprisingly dark. You can see his boobs have some shape only if he’s topless.

AGHGHGHG. that’s basically how i feel about this chapter. there’s a lot going on but at the same time everything is awesome. decided to just put attitude out first smh im already late asf on everything WHY NOT⁉️ i hate tumblr. sorry if this seems short i was scared to even post this bruh

You feel okay.

Like you’re hanging off the edge of a cliff. There is no way to get back up. Your only choice is to fall down.

You’re laying on the floor of the locker room. Nothing could ever replicate the feeling of Raven’s touch. No, nothing could ever replicate his presence.

You’re not even sure if you have the energy to go out for any matches anymore.

The sound of banging at your door doesn’t make you jolt even a little bit. Austin’s voice behind it doesn’t make you move a muscle either.

“Open this damn door!”

You still make no moves, instead tilting your head upward. The room is upside down. But the feeling of blood rushing towards your head feels fantastic.

After a few more minutes of banging, the door eventually comes off its hinges.

Wow. He actually took the door down this time!

You smile seeing not only Austin, but Debra coming into the room. There’s a cameraman right behind them, so you figure you have to play things up a bit.

“The hell’s gotten into ya’?!” He yells. There’s a scowl on his face but it only makes you laugh. “I don’t think this shit is funny...”

“[Name], I’m very concerned about you…” Debra trails off nervously. “You were rude to me earlier and Doctor Smiley said your session went terribly.”

Austin decides to yank you up off of the floor. All you have is a goofy smile on your face. He narrows his eyes at you. “Ya’ got anything to say?”

“I’ve never, ever, felt so alive.” You answer, voice calm and collected. “I think Doctor Smiley’s classes were enlightening. However…I’m sorry, Debra. If we’re being honest, Austin’s the one who started it. It was such a cruel, cruel attack on Raven, who was only participating in the exercise. I feel like Raven did no wrong. I feel like he does no wrong whatsoever.”

For a moment, the other two look at you in confusion, before brushing it off. Debra looks over at Austin and crosses her arms. “Do you have anything to say about this?”

Austin scoffed. “Listen, the guy was gettin’ a little too handsy. You would’ve done somethin’ too.” He doesn’t exactly apologize. “That ain’t the point. Chris Jericho’s my opponent tonight and ya need to get it together before we lose again. Do whatever ya’ can to help me out.”

You nod, the liveliness slowly coming back. “Of course! We won’t lose. There’s no way we’d lose.” For a moment, you feel like you’re back to your mood from earlier tonight. Just full of happiness and excitement to be here.

“Don’t worry, I’m fine. Totally don’t know what got into me. Listen, I’ll distract the referee or something!”

Debra seems fine with your apology, walking over to you with a frown. “Sweetie, let me fix you up a bit..” She tries to fluff your hair with her fingers, then dusts off your shirt a bit. If only she had an iron... “There’s dark circles under your eyes! Did you get any sleep last night?”

You thought you did. You wonder if earlier might’ve………….

“And pull your pants up, you look like Lita.” She points out.

“I’d look cute with Lita’s style though.” You sigh, pulling them up.

“The hell you would.” Austin cuts in. “I’m gonna get changed. Ya’ have 5 minutes to meet me in gorilla. I’m leavin’ if you’re not there.”

“Okay.” You give a thumbs up as he exits the now doorless room.

Debra gave you a small smile. “You can tell me anything, you know.” She says. “It doesn’t make sense for you to be so…you know. What happened after I saw you?”

“I’m just nervous.” You quickly say. “I uh, I keep hearing that I’m going to get a match at Vengeance. I’m not sure how to feel.”

“I see. Don’t let it bother you too much. I’m sure you’ll give whoever you’re going against what’s coming to them. I don’t want you walking around like you don’t have any sense.” Debra comes over one more time to make sure you look presentable.

“I’m frustrated with you two…but all I can ask is that you two try your best.”

Just as she asked, you’ll do your very best.

RAW IS WAR // 8:49 PM

The sound of glass shattering was your cue. You follow right behind Austin, waving to the crowd as you go. You probably weren’t supposed to, but oh well.

Austin quickly gets into the ring and starts attacking Jericho with strikes. You want to hop on the ring apron for a closer look, but instead you stay outside of the ring. Austin irish-whips Jericho into the ropes but the latter clambers out to get some air.

Not for long though. You turn him around and slap him, reminiscent of a couple nights ago. Austin comes out and shoves Jericho into the corner of the steel steps.

He gives him a few chops on the chest and turns towards you. “Hit ‘em!”

You’d be more than happy to! You lick your hand before tearing it back and slapping him across the chest as hard as you could. The crowd sitting nearby winces at the loud sound.

You shake your hand out with a smile and smack him one more time before he falls to the ground in pain.

Austin takes back the reins, pulling Jericho up and slamming him into the guardrail.

That was enlivening! All you can do is laugh. Bringing him pain was the highlight of your night. You hope there’s more opportunities to rough him up.

Back into the ring they go. You’re on the outside, watching ever so carefully. The more you watch them go, the more you take notes. You think Austin’s wrestling style is a bit too hard hitting for you, but it’s still good to learn.

Austin attempts to hit Jericho with a stunner, but the latter reverses and tries hitting him with his own stunner. It fails, and Austin takes him down with a double leg sweep.

You jump for joy as Austin starts twisting him over into the Walls of Jericho. This is fantastic! Your partner has been on fire all night! He didn’t even need your help right now.

But alas, the moment is short lived as Jericho reaches over to the ropes, grabbing it and causing the referee to make Austin drop the hold.

Jericho was holding onto that bottom rope for dear life, so you come over and smack his hands. “Let go of the ropes!”

Austin stomps on his back and you take a step away. You could hear someone from the crowd call your name, so you turn on your heel to face them.

The girl from the crowd seems star struck, but nervously waves at you. You wave back. It wasn’t over, the girl ushers you to come closer.

She raises her voice so you can hear her. “D-Do you think you’ll get the Women’s Championship?”

That was a good question.

“I don’t know! You think I should go for it?” You have a big smile on your face, one that makes her feel more relaxed. “What’s wrong with Trish and the Championship?”

“I don’t really like Trish….” She admits. “I think you’re just the coolest! You’re awesome! Oh, hey, do you have a crush on Jeff Hardy?!”

It’s the nicest thing you’ve heard all night from a fan. “Thank you!” You exclaim. “Listen, Trish is a good champion though!” You’re not sure how to reply to the Jeff comment, after all, Raven is your one and only! “Mmm, I’m not sure.”

Jericho is getting the better of Austin in the ring. This time, he tries pulling him into the Walls of Jericho as revenge for earlier.

Turning your attention back to the ring, you felt scared. You hope he doesn’t tap out. Just incase, you hop onto the ring apron in an attempt to get the referee’s attention.

“Hey!” You call, giving a wave. “Over here!” You make a fuss long enough for Austin to crawl over to the ropes and grab it. Once you notice he’s got it, you jump off. The referee yells at Jericho to release his hold.

He does, dragging Austin to the center of the ring and tries to put him in the submission again. Luckily, Austin kicks him right in his face.

Jericho staggers for a moment, but gives the finger to Austin as he’s still down on the mat. He instead runs over to the ropes and jumps off to try and give him a moonsault, but Austin rolls out of the way and Jericho lands on his feet.

Austin recovers much to your relief, and before you knew it, he hits the stunner on Jericho. Just like that, you hear the crowd scream “1, 2, 3!”

The match was over!

You’re almost brought to tears. Even commentary refers to this win as something you’ve both needed. You roll into the ring, excitedly jumping up and down before holding your hands up.

Austin hesitates for a minute, unsure with what you were doing at first, but gives you a high five with both hands once he realizes. He then walks over to the side and catches two beers that were thrown at him.

He cracks one open and tosses another to you. You crack it open with ease. Now, you weren’t a big beer drinker, but the swig you took was the sweet taste of victory.

This is a night that we all deserve!

RAW IS WAR // 9:01 PM

“That was awesome!” You yell, turning over to Austin. The camera pans over to you. “You won! No, we really won! I mean, when you hit that stunner, it was like BAM! Jericho didn’t even know what was coming to him! He tried it, then you got back at him! Like ugh!!!!”

Austin gives you a smile, a genuine one. He finishes his last bit of beer. “Hell yeah we did.”

Debra claps her hands for you two. “You two were wonderful tonight. Congratulations!”

“I say we go to McDonald’s!” You recommend. “In celebration! I can drive!” As you head down the hallway, you stop suddenly stop in your tracks.

“Ohhh my god.” You mutter, hitting Austin’s shoulder. “OHH MY GOD!!”

“What’s the problem??” He yanked away from you, a confused look on his face.

“Look! Down the hallway!!” You point. “That’s Bret fucking Hart!” You were completely starstruck, hell, completely in awe. The crowd too, popping for the mention of his name. “Oh my god.” You wanted an autograph. You wanted an autograph bad. Really bad.

Austin doesn’t even know what to say at first. For the first time in a while, he’s speechless. All he can do is laugh. “Ya’ serious?”

Debra gasps. “Oh my! We are in Canada after all, no wonder he’s hanging around. I can’t remember the last time I saw him…”

You’re still freaking out. “Holy shit. I think going to faint. It’s really him!”

The Rattlesnake realizes that you are indeed serious. He points a finger towards the Hitman. “You’re a fan of him? …Debra, you seein’ this shit?”

Debra hits his shoulder lightly. “Let the girl have this. He’s a good wrestler! Good man, too.” Austin crosses his arms and she threw her hands up in defense. “What? I’m just saying.”

He scoffed. “I’m your husband, god damnit.”

“I’ve seen a lot of your matches with him! In Your House was my favorite one!” You hoped you looked good, instinctively straightening out your shirt. It’s safe to say you’ve always had a TINY crush on Bret Hart.

Just a tiny one. He’s very inspiring!

“I really want to go say hi.” You say.

“Go ahead.” Debra lightly pushes you. “We’ll wait for you right here.”

Austin looks like he’s going through all five stages of grief in one fell swoop. “I need to take a blood pressure test. Debra, where’s the cuff link?”

The woman rolls her eyes at him, but you take a deep breath and head towards Bret. You need to hype yourself up. Make it seem like you’re really cool. You take a deep breath as the camera follows you over to his spot.

“Hi…!” You wave.

He turns around curiously, giving you a warm smile at the sight of you. You’re feeling lightheaded, good god. “Hey, how are you? Do I know you?”

“I’m greood! I mean, I’m great, good!” You inwardly curse at yourself for mushing your words together. You were nervous as hell. “No, you don’t know me. I’m [Name], a WWF wrestler. But I know you! You’re Bret Hart, and I’m a really big fan.”

“Really now?” He grins. “You’re really a fan? “Now that I think about it, I may have saw one of your matches as I was watching Raw. If you’re who I think you are, you’ve got some spunk to you.”

“Thanks! Stone Cold Steve Austin said the same thing to me, actually.” You say. “I’m like, his supporter or something. I’m just here.”

“He’s right.” He confirmed. “I think you’re a star in the making. You keep up the good work, you’ll win a title in no time.”

“I really want to. Gonna do the best I can with what I got for now.” It makes you think back to what that fan said. If you went for a title, you’d sure that she’d be elated. “I totally didn’t know you were going to be here! I-I mean I know we’re in Canada but oh my god. Are you wrestling tonight?”

“Don’t plan to. Maybe a promo or two.” Bret says. “I’m taking a bit of a break from wrestling, waiting for the right time to lace up my boots again.”

“Totally understandable.”

It’s quiet between you two before he puts a hand in his pocket, sliding out a pink pair of glasses. “Hey, I don’t suppose a big fan of mine would enjoy a souvenir?”

Was he going to give those glasses to you??? You look at him eagerly. Fuck yes, you’d enjoy a souvenir! “I don’t have a pen on me though.” You say. Even if he couldn’t sign it, you were just thrilled to even get something from him.

“That’s fine. If anyone asks, you can just tell them talk to me.” He reassured, sliding them on your face.

The clicking of heels makes you look over with a smile. Debra’s rushing over to you two with a disposable camera. “How cute! C’mon, let me get a picture. For the memories!”

“Can I get a hug?” You blurt out.

Bret nods. “Bring it in.” He puts his arms around you and you feel like you’ve just accomplished all your goals. That’s it.

….You’re keeping that picture for the rest of your life.

“Looking sharp!”

Your compliment makes RVD turn around, shooting you finger guns at the same time. He had his Hardcore Championship around his arms, completely drenched in sweat from his match.

You were going to give him a hug, but he was a little too sweaty for your taste. “You need a towel?”

“Two, probably.” He nods. There are quite a few sitting on a makeup vanity nearby, so you grab two and hand it over as requested.

Seeing him with one title confused you. “You won? Where’s that European title?”

“Yup. They changed the rules a little…Christian didn’t lose his title. I didn’t lose mine either.”

“That’s confusing.” You didn’t get why. Well, if they didn’t want to change it, they didn’t want to change it, oh well. “Whatever. Congratulations!” You cheer.

Again, you’d hug him, but you didn’t feel like changing at the moment. He’s still kinda sweaty!

“Thanks.” He holds his hand up for a high five, and you’re willing to give him one. Woohoo! Hopefully you’d be able to talk to him later. If there’s any tag team match, you’d definitely want him as your partner again.

A couple of minutes later, you find yourself back in gorilla awaiting Trish and The Rock. You were a little earlier than expected, so the Women’s Champion arriving first wasn’t a shocker.

“[Name], you’re early!” Trish chimes. “I’m glad you’re here though. I’m really scared. I hope we can win tonight.”

“I told you, I’ll be here to help! I’ll make it end in disqualification if I have to.” You reassure, taking her hand into yours. “Mr. McMahon is going to get what’s coming to him, I promise. I think his little club is disgusting and he needs a taste of his own medicine……Trish?”

“Yeah?”

“…I’m gonna kick our boss in the nuts.”

Trish couldn’t even respond before she fell into a fit of laughter. “No! Don’t do that. Actually, you’re more than welcome to. You wouldn’t believe the things he’s made me do. Bark like a dog…embarrassed me by dumping guck onto me with Stephanie and William Regal…”

“Don’t even get me started on Stephanie.” You groan. “She’s a witch.” You were lucky enough to have not seen her after your match. “Maybe Chris Jericho was onto something. I mean, bottom feeding trashbag hoe….what a choice of words.”

“You know, you two would be an unstoppable duo if you two became friends.” Trish points out. “I think it’d really work out!”

“Over my dead body. I’m not becoming friends with that egotistic self-absorbed asshole.” You roll your eyes, letting go of her hand.

Trish relents, letting out a sharp breath of air. “..Oookay! Maybe you guys should have a promo going back and forth….”

“You ladies look like you’re having a good time.”

The voice of The Rock makes you look over. You easily give a thumbs up. “Absolutely! Hello, Rocky!”

“….” He doesn’t know how to feel about your little nickname, but goes with it anyway. “Hey. Heard you were on our side tonight. The Rock appreciates that.”

It’s kinda weird to hear him talk in third person, but you roll with it too.

“Of course! I was just telling Trish that Mr. McMahon was gonna get what’s coming to him. You’re gonna win!”

And if luck is on your side, tonight would still be your night.

I’ll tell you what I really don’t want this show to end but I understand what Marvel is trying to do in their universe but god this a good fuckin’ series! allow me to rant about the only thing that has been in my brain for the past two months and that is doll customizing babeyyyyy

i know there’s a 90% chance that you wont give a Shit about any of this but here we go anyways

SO first you gotta choose a doll. preferably one with a high range of motion to avoid creating new joints or having annoying limitations like not having elbow joints for some fucking reason. what the fuck mattel. give monster high dolls back their ball jointed shoulders and elbow joints. smh

the most common dolls ive seen used as bases are monster high and ever after high. most customs ive seen are highly stylized so the stylized face molds work well for those types of dolls but dolls like barbies are good for when you want a more realistic face-ups.

once you’ve got your base picked out you gotta wipe that bitch’s face off with like. acetone or nail polish remover or something strong like that. you can also use acetone to shrink doll heads which is cool as hell imo. n e way once the face is wiped you gotta chop off the hair and remove the hair plugs from the inside. ive seen this done several ways but the easiest and most common way ive seen is to dunk the head into boiling water for ~30 seconds until it gets squishy and malleable. once you’ve got the head back, you can use pliers (i think tweezers would work in a pinch) to pull out the hair plugs which are kinda icky because theyre covered in glue and other gross shit. ew

now you must decapitate the doll. dunk em back in the boiling water to soften them back up then just tug the head off. the neck pegs look funky and are usually a different color than the body so thats cool ig

once the head’s off, you can start the face-up which is basically just giving the doll a new face using stuff like watercolor pencils, acrylic paint, gouache, and a whole lot of other stuff. hell ive seen people use person makeup on these dolls.

next,,,,, hair. there’s about twenty million ways to do hair from gluing yarn wefts to sewing to rerooting with purchased nylon doll hair or yarn wefts but i’m gonna talk about the most common one ive seen which is rerooting and gluing.

before you can reroot, you need doll hair. which, as i mentioned, can be bought at stores like the doll planet or made at home with yarn in literally any color. have fun with it! make rainbow hair or something idk

to make homemade wefts, you take some acrylic yarn, cut it twice as long as you want the hair to be (keep in mind you can cut and style the hair once it’s been rerooted), fold them in half, and tie it to something sturdy like a wire coat hanger for the next step.

once you’ve got your yarn tied to your hanger, use a pet brush and brush the yarn until it’s wispy and looks like hair. then take a straightening iron and iron the weft flat. then remove from the hanger and boom. hair wefts. ta-da

to reroot the wefts onto the head, use a rerooting tool (which can be as simple as a needle with the eye cut at angle) (just google it please i’m shit at descriptions)) to poke small sections of the hair into the head. you can use the pre-existing rooting holes for your own reroot as they’re usually pretty reliable. to reroot, take a small length of you doll hair (about 10-15 strands), loop it in half, and put the middle of the loop into the reroot tool. poke the end of the tool with the hair on it into the pre-existing hole and remove the tool. the hair *should* stay in and fill up that plug!! also remember to plug thickly at the hairline and part of the hair where it's most noticeable. it doesnt matter as much in the center of the head as that’s not usually visible on the doll. once you’ve rerooted, squeeze in strong glue through the neck hole and squish around the head to make sure it covers all the plugs and secures them in place. then pour hot water onto the head to make the hair lay flat for styling later.

also, you can reroot yarn directly into the head to make thicker, more textured hairstyles. and since the yarn is thicker, you dont need to glue the inside of the head for the hair to stay in place!!

if youre not doing body modifications (which are also cool as hell) then it’s time for clothes but clothes are boring and i like body mods more so i’m gonna rant about them instead

the material ive seen most doll artists use is apoxie sculpt, which is like play doh on steroids. it comes in two parts which you gotta mix together for some reason. why dont they sell it pre-mixed. what was the reason. also once it’s dry it’s super super strong and you can sand it, drill into it, paint it, and all kinds of stuff. very nice and i want some for myself.

you can use hand saws and drills and shit to whack off doll limbs to make stuff like digitigrade legs or new joints. also dont be afraid to use other mismatching doll parts when customizing like heads and bodies and forearms and hands and shit. it literally does not matter if youre gonna recolor the doll anyways so have fun with it. make frankenstein’s doll if youre feeling spicy

accessories my beloved. stuff like tiny beads and clay baubles and shit will literally transform the entire doll plus they’re adorable and multi-purpose

i suppose i must talk about clothes now. ah well. you can find great clothing patterns if youre new to customizing on other customizer’s etsy shops and probably google although those will probably be lower quality than paid pattern pieces. and keep in mind that if it exists as clothing irl, you can likely make it doll-sized. there are literally no limits to your clothing options as long as you can execute your idea.

the once all your components have been made, you can assemble the doll again!! and finally see what all the parts look like together!! very cool 10/10 stars.

little did you know that dolls have been one of my favorite things since like ever. if i can read a 25 chapter long fanfic i can read this B)

mattel definitely fucked up by completely ruining MH doll designs and just stopping EAH, alot of their profits most likely came from people who collect and customize dolls and by changing MH doll designs/Stopping EAH dolls they 1. most likely lost a small (or big if we're not jus talking people who customize dolls) part of their profit and 2. made it harder for doll customizers to make dolls/get commissions out rather quickly because they probably have to waste more time making joints or learning how to make joints.

EAH/MH dolls (specifically MH dolls) had AMAZING MODELS because there was so much variety with height, face shapes, etc (my favorite molds had to be the short/tall dolls and the cat molds because of the tails) and doll customizers really went all out with enhancing a molds unique features. The only "downside" abt MH dolls is that they (or atleast most)(from what i remember)) had slimmer faces but wider eyes while EAH dolls have wider faces with slimmer smaller which left a canvas for the face and not the eyes (and vice versa for MH dolls)

I've never seen any videos where a barbie is customized (maybe because i absolutely despised barbies at the time) so I'll definitely have to check those out but they seem to be good for realistic makeovers. I've seen like like semi realistic makeovers for EAH/MH dolls that were pretty good too tho (pretty sure mostly EAH dolls since yk MH dolls were used for creature makeovers while most EAH dolls weren't)

yeah i was always amazed by the head shrinking with acetone. honestly i still am?? idunno i have no idea how that chemical bullshit works. Ive seen a few of uh makeovers that just pain over the face (in multiple layers ofcourse) but that's usually when they're painting the entire body a different colour (again usually when they're turning a doll into a funky little baby man). I've also seen a few that just chop the hair off and take out the hair plugs yk without uuh like softening the head or just go straight for the hair plugs after taking off the head (i used to do that it was funny to me??). i always really liked when they used watercolour pencils or just colour pencils in general to draw/sketch on the face cause like wow ur drawing on ur doll without ruining it?? kinda epic maybe even poggers and pogchamp?? oh god my brain is failing wjshsmsj.

Watching them putting the hair back on the doll was, other than the face stuff, was the BEST part for me. Favorite type of hair was iuuuuuh was either thick yarn or brushed out yarn. Literally worship the people that would reroot the hair, theyre the most patience people on this earth!! it's literally insane but i guess that's what happens when you've been doing that for years? you guess kinda get used to it. when they put glue into the head does it just become stiff?? like it's just a clump of dried glue or does it like..hollow out again??

dude you literally cannot convince me most of the supplies used for doll makeovers. APOXIE CLAY LOOKS SO FECKING GOOD. its edible and i will die on that hill. The body mods are literally so amazing!!!!! it's so impressive how theyre able to imagine certain features THEN LIKE ACTUALLY MAKE IT LOOK ACCURATE TO WHAT THEY WANTED TO LOOK LIKE AFTER LIKE ON TRY (or many yk trial and error is very necessary for..everything). Absolutely loved when doll customizers would saw off a dolls legs and use different ones or just completely get rid of the torso to use a different one. it's like uuh that one big guy that's mismatched and sewn together. very cool. The accessories are so fun!! just small little details you seen really need but can add because it's your feckin doll!! I used to be absolutely obsessed over the doll clothes i would find on etsy, so much so that i started sewing shitty shirts and dresses for my uh "customized" dolls (they were absolute HORRORS idk WHY my mom let me feck up my dolls like that).

Guys. There are four Rio scenes in this episode. Four! All with different looks and half of them are NEW! It’s very shocking, I know; I had to go lie down for a while when I realised. So I’ll understand if you need to take a moment before we get into it. Do what you need to do to cope. 

Look #1

Remember when I was complaining that the last episode didn’t give us any proper shots so we could see wtf this man was wearing? This episode said hold my beer.

This is definitely his exact outfit from the 2x04 bathroom scene, right down to the jeans. 

And this time I’m not going to mark him down for originality because 1) I think this time it was actually a deliberate repeat outfit and 2) it seems a bit unfair to mark him down for what he’s wearing in someone else’s imagination, lol. 

Plus, there’s an addition to the outfit! The tyre iron is back and I am greatly pleased by it. 

He’s also wearing his pinkie-finger ring and the leather arm bands. The jeans are a bit tight, but who am I to stand in the way of him showing off his assets? 

I will judge him for the jacket, though, because this is where he starts a fairly upsetting trend for the season of wearing a jacket like a shirt, buttoned all the way to the top. 

One episode he’s wearing a t-shirt in the middle of winter and then in another he’s so cold that his jacket must be done up to his throat. I’m not about it.

I will say that it’s a fairly nice jacket, though. (Although it does have an insane number of shiny buttons.) Plus, not only was it moveable enough for bathroom sex, but it also lends itself well to smashing up a bedroom. And in spite of all that, it still fits him pretty well and is the perfect length. That’s functional fashion right there.

I’ve always really enjoyed him entering here right as Manny’s name pops up on screen, like yes it is I.

There’s also a really funny bend-and-snap moment, but with Rio it’s more like lean-and-smash.

7/10 -- The outfit, not his ass

A new shirt!! Someone (was it you, @riosnecktattoo​?) once said that Rio was lured here under vague pretences and assumed it was a date, and I agree completely, because that shirt is not from his Crime Closet. That is 100% from his normal wardrobe, which sadly means we never see it again, but let’s enjoy it while it’s here, ok?

Not only is this whole look way more casual than his normal getup, but the shirt is also green? We’ve seen more colour in the past few episodes than ever before and it’s frankly dizzying. 

Especially when combined with an open popped collar?! Sir. Have mercy.

It’s difficult to tell whether he’s wearing the entire shirt open or not, though it does seem that way (!!), and there’s a black t-shirt underneath.

It gets even worse: at one point you can see the arm band and the ring at the same time, plus he’s doing a shot, and in combination with this new Look, it’s all a lot to handle.

You know this whole scene he’s just thinking I can’t believe I wore my date shirt for this.

Also, this is how he looks at Annie when she asks how much it would cost to “just smoke” Mary Pat:

We’re back to the Crime Closet, but I don’t even mind -- it’s no secret that I love this man in a blue shirt. It’s not the perfect 1x02 All Saints one, but it is very well-pressed until he creases it up with his dumb posture.

Even for this show, this scene was inordinately dark, so don’t mind my lightened screenshots so we can view this shirt in all its glory. 

It is actually ridiculous how good he looks in everything blue. 

This is one of my favourite parts of the scene, where he just straight up steals a chair from the people at the next table. What if that person had just gone to the bathroom, Rio?! Where are they supposed to sit when they get back?? Smh. Rude.

Also, he’s wearing his arm bands again but, more importantly, a new pair of shoes!!

I said I wanted evidence of Rich Bitch Rio and this episode really delivered with a fourth pair of shoes. And not only that, but they have white in them?? I’m going to go lie down for another moment.

Ok, so you know what this means, right? Out of the four outfits in this episode, only one of them was all-black. We’re breaking records here, people.

Sadly, we will never get the iconic grey hoodie from 1x02 back, but apparently Rio did deign to remember that he looks amazing in grey and decided to remind us all, too, by stunting in this look right here.

It’s another All Saints shirt -- not quite as luxurious-seeming as the blue one, but nice nonetheless. Difficult to tell if it’s from his Crime Closet or not since we never see it again, but I’m going to guess that Rio heard filming was happening and immediately put on something extra spiffy and rushed over, knowing this was his opportunity to get discovered. 

He even wears his new pair of shoes, which we get a better look at!

Look at those kicks! And these jeans aren’t as skinny! 

I love this look. It also helps that he is just very giggly in it. 

Rio in grey hits different, don’t @ me.

okay so the mist that comes up when Bark first says “laughter is the best medicine” plus the way Ms. Obianyo’s ensemble character Looks At Him plus the way Ms. Obianyo’s Ensemble Character and Mr. Maskell’s Ensemble Character stand next to each other plus the fact that this is all Barkilphedro telling the story of events he perpetrated and whatnot just generally the whole look of the bit gives me Feelings like these particular two ensemble characters are almost sort of the ghosts of Gwyn’s mom and kinda sorta who Gwyn could’ve been but also not but also Kinda

oh i will gush about this babie any day of the week, thank you v much!!! he’s 26 years old, a hufflepuff and tyler posey is his fc and he is my lil himbo wfsfvdedf

he first came to mind to me awhile back when at the time i was thinking of putting together an rp group that takes place at a mall, and he essentially was just gonna be this ‘dumb of ass, pure of heart’ kind of a muse that either worked at like a radio shack or in a comic store and even tho the rp never ended up becoming a thing i kept him close to my heart and he’s just been there ever since.

he grew up in texas w his 2 twin siblings and a single mom, their dad just sort of bolted when mig was just around 6 and he grew up p quickly after that, wanting to do all that he can to help his mama out being the man of the house, and the closest thing to a paternal figure his siblings have ever had. bc of this he didn’t end up going to college but he doesn’t regret it for a second, taking any off end job that he could find so that he can still provide for his fam. he’s kind of a floater due to having the majority of his life being revolved around being a caretaker and provider but this he also doesn’t really mind either, he’s just doing his thing and letting the chips fall where they may, despite kind of being at a lose now that his siblings are old enough to care for themselves and his mom’s business now taking off, so he’s just kind of tryna figure things out. personality wise this babie is still a true child at heart, loving kids cartoons, will be the type to ask for a kids menu and a margarita and will also tell you the moon is made out of cheese (smh) he’s not necessarily the brightest but he makes up for it w such a big heart and love for all his friends and family, he adores them all so so much and would give them the absolute world if he could, god knows he absolutely TRIES, he’s everyone’s local hype man and an honorary older brother to all, he just wants everyone to be good and cared for 🥺 he ironically lacks self care despite his instincts to care for everyone else so his meals are usually microwaveable or shaped like dinosaurs. he’s got big stoner energy (he’s also a stoner)kind of just super down for whatever be that lazying around on the couch or going out to do smth spontaneous and uses words like rad and sick and my guy/dude a lot

he has thoughts about his dad who has left them behind when he was just a kid and the twins being too young to even remember him at all; he’s angry that he never got to have a dad of his own and is sometimes terrified of that anger still deeply rooted inside of him. he KNOWS that he wants kids but bc of his dad he’s really scared that he might mess up the same way somehow, he doesn’t want it to turn into a cycle so he’s hesitant when the topic goes to having a family of his own despite it being smth that he wants so so badly, he just wants to do his best by them bc that’s truly all they would deserve.

there’s this verse i have w a friend where he is her son ale’s cousin where after their dad left, ale’s dad stepped in to help out and be the dad for mig and his brother and sister, meaning they all just sort of lumped together as one big fam, gaining a brother (ale) and an older sister (barbie) and honestly i adore it so freakin much, i would die for that big conjoined family folks yes indeed

This might be weird but can you kibbe type people based on silhouette? I'm not sure about my type and could use some help

Nooo this ask is perfect 😊 The answer is yes! Silhouette is a big deal for Kibbe body typing. You can get an idea how the garments that suit the person will look like. Lots of input with examples ahead. 👋 (Intro to Kibbe icymi: see here.)

Ok, let’s take RM. His outline is tall, broad. A Flamboyant Natural silhouette. Same goes for women of this type, think Liv Tyler or Diana. The principle is always the same. You can double-check with clothing. For Flamboyant Natural, it’s anything (lots of options!) that picks up the tall + wide component. Remember Kibbe’s motto here: Bodies don’t need correction; the goal is to dress according to what is present. He wrote in his fb group recently that clothes should ‘accommodate’ which sums it up well. That way, it looks harmonious. Silhouette determines clothes, not vice versa. That’s how you find your type.

Hence for RM we pick: Say, a monochromatic oversized vertical line (for height), bulky fabrics (for width). Leisurely, sturdy clothes. To accommodate his godly hunk proportions. With Kibbe, clothing that imitates the body looks spot on like one’s habitat. You can type Joon as FN based on his broad + tall silhouette since he can pull off something like on the left:

Most other types will look lost in such a chunky cut except fellow Naturals. The other way around, when RM dresses against his shape, it feels separate in a way that we see the styling first, not him. Let’s try this approach so you see what I mean, you can use this for yourself, too: The antonym of Joon’s body would be tiny, curvy, angular. The blue jacket on the right is just that: Cropped w/ little details that line-break his tall silhouette. It’s something that would rather match say Jimin’s style. Because: Jimin’s outline is shorter. 

See how he wears such a stiff, fitted Soft Gamine jacket with ruffles, high collar, and small ornaments effortlessly on the left. Super sexy. While on the right, it looks like he sneaks the entire maknae line past Jin under that huge coat smh so cute 😆 

Natural clothing looks too wide + elongated on his petite silhouette, even if he chooses it in his size. While on a Natural type, it looks just right. Winter wear w/ a line break, not monochromatic, accommodates his proportion much better and still keeps mochi warm. That way, you can type Jimin as definitely not FN. It’s interesting how his sex appeal is underlined so well with ornate things while Joon looks put together and like himself with something not (!) embellished at all. Leisure clothes have a rep for being sloppy, but Naturals make them look presentable, even fatally hot like JK (Soft Natural). Or tiny suits everyone’d laugh at when worn by tall people, Gamines make them work, see Yoongi.

A Dramatic would appear too skinny in the shirt and too tall in the jacket. A Romantic would be dwarfed by the shirt and too curvy for the jacket. A Classic would disappear in the shirt and seem awkward in the jacket. Again, only if you let silhouette determine the clothes, there’s harmony. If you think the other way around, that stereotypically sexy garment XYZ will make you look good, it might not be the case if it doesn’t replicate the lines of your body. Your own unique brand of ‘put together’ might be an entirely different one, that’s the whole mentality of the system which I find great. Take the constricting blue dress on Liv VS the glowing free spirit look on the left: 

YANG types ironically look their most polished in loose/boxy clothes, not glamorous ones. YANG gives you the straight hips, the jawline, the legs to fill out those clothes. And others, YIN types, are awkward in casual things but shine in flouncy gowns. It’s Kibbe magic. You can type yourself based on how an outfit wholly blends with & centers you. One of the 5 main categories really gives you that wow effect. For women’s dresses: Merriam on YT gives practical advice (after 5:15) how to narrow it down via putting on 5 outfits.

You can create different expressions of yourself with lines that are disharmonious from you, it doesn’t always have to be ‘this looks good, this doesn’t’. Especially when you borrow from neighboring types. For instance, RM can make himself look broader if he wears a chiseled suit (D/DC). His frame will automatically bulk out the angular cut. Or say our petite Gamines Sope can make themselves look adorable with long coats. Putting on sth separate from your outline creates a new image through contrast in proportions. Liv’s blue YIN dress was so small, it made her athletic YANG build visible. If she wants to show her strong frame, choosing opposite of her lines will reveal her body type. 

So if you put on jackets next time, gauge how large/long (N/D) or small (R, G) they have to be to accommodate your body. Look for contrast or if it’s ‘just right’. If you need medium length, you’re a Classic like Tae. Careful with C clothes though when testing yourself. They look sort of fitting on anyone because the lines are so neutral. 

If you are an actual Classic though! It’ll really make you look particularly awesome: Harmony. You can spot the C (and often Ds) by how perfect they look in minimal clothing. Tae is an anime character in neat suits. Because his outline & face are so symmetrical. Meanwhile, Romantics can’t have enough small-size jewelry and glitter on them; it repeats their rounded lines/curves. Gamines have such a variable silhouette that contrasting things fit them: see Gaga. Dramatics are towering + lean, a head to toe ensemble w/ sharp corners repeats their silhouette (K. Blanchett in suits!). I’ll explain how those effects come to be.

The important 2 factors that make up silhouette are bones and flesh/muscle. 

— BONES

Perceived height shows whether your skeleton is YIN, YANG, or both. The longer your vertical line and limbs, the more Dramatic or to some extent Natural you’ll be. The shorter your silhouette looks, the more Gamine or to some extent Romantic you’ll be. Joon has YANG height, Jimin has YIN height. You can exclude a lot of types once you know how your bone structure appears. Elimination principle on the YIN/YANG spectrum with a pic quiz, very well-explained by this Youtuber Kelsey typing herself:

— FLESH

The more YANG your flesh, the more absence of softness & muscularity (Dramatic: Lena Headey). Pure YANG is flat, narrow. The more YIN, the more curve and soft tissue is present (Romantic: Betty Kyalo). The two extremes are easier to spot. Types with YIN and YANG (N, C, G, subtypes) are harder to nail down. You can type yourself where you gain weight though, Kibbe summarized this. YANG flesh of N, G, D gets stockier/square in the midsection, Classic gains weight all over. The more YIN the flesh, the likelier it is that your silhouette keeps the hourglass. Reminder that flesh doesn’t determine all of your type, you have to add bones and face alike, see handy chart. pride month asks!

some questions and answers about my experience with LGBTQ+

1.       What do you identify as and what are your pronouns? 

I identify as bisexual and genderfluid, so my pronouns regularly change from she/her to he/him.

2.      How did you discover your sexuality, tell your story?

I have always been a huge ally to the LGBTQ+ community, but one day I was stepping out of the shower, and kind of thinking to myself what the difference between having sex with a guy and having sex with a girl was. After contemplation, I thought to myself that they really weren’t all that different to me, and I’d probably enjoy having sex with a girl just as much as having sex with a guy. I researched online a little bit, and I figured out that yeah, I’m probably bi. Especially after I fell in love with both Brendon Urie and his wife Sarah, I was pretty damn sure I was bi.

3.      Have you experienced being misgendered? What happened and how did you overcome it?

Sometimes I do, but it honestly doesn’t bother me too much because I come from a very conservative, religious, small town background. I grew up in a private Catholic school where everyone is Republican and nobody even knows what being gay is, much less a different gender. So I’m kind of used to putting up a façade for others. As I graduated and moved away from my hometown, things have been much better, and by politely correcting others, I’m able to be confident in who I am as well as educate the people around me.

4.      Who was the first person you told, how did they react?

Oh god, haha. I distinctly remember that night when I knew I was going to tell my best friend I was genderfluid. I was so nervous and scared, I just sort of blurted it out over text, in all caps, like “I’M GENDERFLUID” and then I kind of panicked, so I proceeded to send her about a hundred Hamilton gifs to cover up what I had typed out and sent. Although it was awkward in the moment, we both laugh about it to this day, and she’s been so accepting and kind to me ever since that moment.

5.      Describe what it was like coming out, what did you feel?

For my friends, it was a lot of anxiety and doubt. For my parents, fear and chaos. My friends didn’t understand, they thought it was a disease of some sort, and actually a lot of them stopped talking to me. Again, conservative religious background, but still, no excuse. I grew up in a very abusive household, and it wasn’t my choice to come out. My therapist had forced me to tell my parents in a session and it was an absolute mess. Coming out wasn’t the best experience, especially as a freshman in high school.

6.      If you’re out, how did your parents/guardians/friends react?

I kind of explained above, but basically not so well. My dad went absolutely off on me, and said some of the most horrible things I have ever been told in my life. He said that I was dragging everyone I knew towards hell, that what I was is unmoral, unnatural, and unnormal, acted like I was some sort of monster, said it was extremely difficult to even be related to me, and that I was corrupting his family and disrespecting his household. It was a miserable time for me, but through music, I was able to write a song about it that helped me cope.

7.      What is one question you hate people asking about your sexuality?

A lot of people assume that because I’m bisexual, I’m some sort of fetish they can use to fulfill their dirty fantasies. I’m always asked to be a part of a couple’s threesome. I am told that the only reason I’m bi is because I want double the opportunities to have sex. It’s ridiculous and disgusting. I’m bi because I like people. Not because I like sex.

8.     Describe the style of clothing that you most often wear.

I really fucking love beanies! Most of the time I read that’s the essential clothing item for all genderfluid people, which makes me laugh, because it’s true. Combat boots or converse, black jeans, a band t-shirt, a sports bra or binder, a jean jacket, and a beanie is always my go-to outfit. So much so, to the point my sister told me that every time I go out in public I’m always wearing the same thing, which kind of makes me laugh.

9.      Who are your favourite lgbt+ ships?

I don’t know if you’ve ever read the magna, Tamen de Gushi, but I absolutely love it! That lesbian couple is everything! I also really love Shane Dawson and Ryland Adams, of course. Captain Holt from Brooklyn Nine Nine and his husband is amazing. Elijah Daniels and Sam also make me super fucking happy.

10.  What does makeup mean to you? Do you wear any?

Growing up as a theater kid, I’ve always seen makeup as accentuated and over the top. I only ever wore makeup on stage, and even then, it was special effects type stuff, zombies and clowns and shit. Once I hit puberty though, my mom would force me to wear makeup because she said it would make me beautiful. I hated it. She would force me to put on makeup before I left the door and it made me have horrible self image issues. As I grew older, I found a love for makeup through beauty gurus and drag queens, and I sometimes dabble in it either for fun or for special events like prom or fancy dinners. I always prefer no makeup though, I feel like to me, wearing it is just hiding behind a mask.

11.   Do you experience dysphoria? If so, how does that affect you?

ALL THE GODDAMN FUCKING TIME. Since I’ve gotten my haircut, a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. Wearing a binder also helps so much! However, I still really want to start T and I think that will help a lot. Dysphoria affects me in so many ways, whether my self confidence or my body image, my anxiety and my mood, etc., a lot of it depends on how comfortable I am in my own skin.

12.  What is the stupidest thing you’ve heard said about the lgbt+ community?

Homophobic people are probably the stupidest people I’ve ever met in my life, to be honest. I’ve heard thousands of dumb things come from their mouths. I think the most outrageous myth I’ve heard is probably that being gay is a disease, and that simply being around another gay person will make you gay. Like who the fuck comes up with this shit? Smh.

13.  What’s your favourite thing about the lgbt+ community?

How creative we are. We’re resilient and outspoken and passionate, but most of all, so talented. The queer community is full of inventors, politicians, emperors, artists, directors, actors, musicians, and more. It’s gorgeous just how much we are capable of.

14.  What’s your least favourite thing about the lgbt+ community?

The discrimination breaks my heart. The fact that we are terrified to so much as hold hands with the one we love in public. To be beaten, tortured, and killed simply for who we are. That is what hurts me the most.

15.  Have you ever been to your cities pride event? Why or why not?

No, I find it sort of ironic every time there is a pride event I happen to have a concert on that day. Once, a Panic! concert, which honestly is sort of the equivalent of Pride. We went and there were so many LGTBQ+ flags and people and it was so gorgeous. I have attended pride prom once though, and it was probably the most fun I had ever had in a really long time.

16.  Who is your favourite lgbt+ Icon/Advocate/Celebrity?

I absolutely adore Miles McKenna. He has helped me so much in finding myself and accepting who I am. He’s such a huge spokesperson for the community and I am so grateful to have him in my life.

17.   Have you been in a relationship and how did you meet?

I’ve been in several relationships, surprisingly, through parties and discussions and friends. My s.o. right now I met through high school, which was crazy in itself, but we’ve been dating for almost two years now and I love them to death.

18.  What is your favourite lgbt+ book?

Beautiful Music for Ugly Children is one of my favorite books ever and it’s about being FTM trans and I love it so much wow.

19.  Have you ever faced discrimination? What happened?

So very much. After coming out to one of my best friends, she stared at me, disgusted and went “well don’t try to have sex with me or anything” and then proceeded to never talk to me again. I’ve received dirty looks and glares, been misgendered on purpose, and even received death threats. It’s horrible.

20. Your Favorite lgbt+ movie or show?

I love American Horror Story so much because of just how much representation it gives our community and how natural they make it seem! And of course, “Love, Simon” was an amazing movie that made me cry like a baby.

21.  Who are some of your favourite lgbt+ bloggers?

I don’t really know about bloggers, but definitely Youtubers! Shane Dawson, Miles Chronicles, Thomas Sanders, Ally Hills, Anthony Amorim, Elijah Daniels, Elle Mills, Garrett Watts, Sam Collins, Todrick Hall, and Trevor Moran are a couple of my favorites.

22. Which lgbt+ slur do you want to reclaim?

I don’t think queer should be a slur. I think queer is a form of self expression and an umbrella term for the community, and I believe many other LGBTQ+ members agree. It’s a word that we take great pride in rather than shame or discrimination.

23. Have you ever gone to a gay bar, or a drag show, how was it?

No, but god I would love to.

24. How do you self-identify your gender, and what does that mean to you?

For me, it’s simply just a part of who I am. Just like the weather, my gender simply changes and I adapt to it. It makes me comfortable in my own skin and proud of who I am. I wouldn’t change being genderfluid for the world.

25. Are you interested in having children? Why or why not?

I fucking hate the idea of pushing a human being out of my vagina, and I would probably want anything else in the entire world other than giving birth. Being pregnant for nine months sounds absolutely miserable and dysphoric, and I cannot even imagine going through labor. However, I would like to have kids, just simply through foster care or adoption, never like my own biological children. There are more than enough kids who need good homes who already exist and I’m more than happy to give it to them.

26. What identity advice would you give your younger self?

You aren’t alone and there are so many people just like you. Your parents do not own you and cannot tell you who you are supposed to be. You are you.

27.  What do you think of gender roles in relationships?

Gender roles are complete bullshit. Let a guy be a stay at home dad. Let a woman be the working one. Everyone should have responsibilities regardless of their gender. If there’s dirty dishes, do the fucking dishes, don’t wait for your spouse to get home to do them. It’s absolutely ridiculous, really. Just do your part in the relationship.

28. Anything else you want to share about your experience with gender?

It breaks my heart how much pain and suffering one has to go through just to be themselves, especially for women and trans people. It’s horrible.

29. What is something you wish people know about being lgbt+?

It’s natural! It’s comfortable! And it’s normal! Being oneself is just part of life, there’s no need to have shame or guilt about it. Respect someone the way you wish you would be accepted and loved.

30. Why are proud to be lgbt+?

We have worked so fucking hard to be recognized for who we are. There’s still so much we need to do though, and we aren’t ever going to stop until every single one of our siblings gain the love and respect they deserve.

ENDGAME SPOILERS!!

Okay I saw Endgame last night and I need to vent... AHHHHHH!!! haha I have so many mixed emotions and I don’t even know. Also I typed this on mobile so sorry for any typos. 

So I first saw Iron Man when I was 11, and it was so cool. I grew up watching all of these movies. At first, Cap was my favorite bc he was ~cute~ and I was a young teen girl and so were all my friends. I also loved Loki for this reason haha. Then I saw Iron Man 3 and LOVED IT. I bought it on DVD as soon as it came out. Tony Stark was amazing, but also he dealt with anxiety and panic attacks? His and Pepper’s relationship was everything as well, and also his and Happy’s and Rhodey’s friendships. Tony felt real and human and relatable, and it was cool he was able to overcome so much even with all of his trauma. In AOU he just wanted to protect his team, and no one truly listened to or respected him or tried to understand him, and he ended up with more trauma and guilt. I just wanted him to have a happy ending. Then he met Peter and it brought me hope, after all the Civil War crap. Infinity War was crushing but not completely because I knew another movie was coming out, so there was still some hope. But then Endgame. Honestly... I’m still processing, but I don’t think I’m happy with it. And for more reasons than just Tony, though I’ll talk about that first. His storyline just seemed... blah. He gets back, gets to yell at Steve, and then goes and lives in seclusion with Pepper and has a kid. Yet you know that even with that life he’s still depressed and guilt-ridden. It’s how Pepper knows he won’t stop. So he does his best to help, time travels or whatever (honestly that whole part is still kinda confusing to me- it created alternate timelines, but what are the implications of that- and also for the rest of the MCU??) and then Tony comes back and it looks like they’ve succeeded. I was expecting him to notice something off about Nebula, tbh. But anyway, final battle, and we all know what happens. He makes the sacrifice play. He dies. Pepper says it’s okay, but I just can’t agree. He already made the sacrifice play in the first movie. I think it should have been Steve or someone else in this one to do it. If all Tony’s pain and trauma has been building to this- I just feel empty inside. It’s not a satisfying end. Sure, he saved the universe, but I feel like Strange literally could have like left a message saying don’t send Nebula to the past and all of that would have been avoided. It felt so pointless. They’d already won. Tony also only got to reunite with Peter for like 30 mins, which is lame, and will bring a whole lot more trauma to him. He didn’t even get to see Morgan again. Ughhh I’m just annoyed. And then Steve?? He just goes to live in the past?? The whole movie he’s been saying he doesn’t move on, and then he literally never does, he never grows from there. He doesn’t really develop at all. It’s true- he never truly moved on from the past, and so that means... he’ll just go live there??? I think a better move would be to have him grow to accept his life and try to be happy and actually move on. Or, like I said earlier, he could have realized he can’t move on and made that sacrifice play himself in order to allow others to live and move on. I think that would have been a more satisfying arc to his story. And it would show the love he actually has for Tony- to allow Tony to live with his family and show that he heard and understood what Tony said at the beginning of the movie. (Also, they never had a real conversation where they made up. It was like they kind had that “do you trust me” moment but Steve never truly apologized and I feel like we got jipped out of a good heartfelt moment between those two.) Also- the Natasha sacrifice was sad, but I’m not totally surprised by it. It feels like a very her thing to do, to save her family and Clint’s. But then after everyone got mad and had a quick moment of silence, it was kind of forgotten?? Like they could have even had a memorial or small tribute at Ton’s funeral or elsewhere but like put something in?? It feels like she was just kind of brushed aside. (Also- I didn’t like BruceNat at first but grew to be okay with it, but then it never became anything? Bruce made himself into Professor Hulk and there was no real closure or conversation between him and Natasha? So like... what. was. the. point???) Again, everything with her just wasn’t that satisfying, but it’s something I may grow to view differently. I did enjoy Clint’s arc and I actually think they did a great job with him. Probably the strongest arc of the movie, actually. The way they handled Thor kind of annoyed me. I think it’s perfectly understandable that he would end up like that. He’s lost his family and most of his kingdom, and he feels responsible. I don’t have a problem with that. I have a problem with how the movie and the characters responded to that. Judgmental looks and jokes... like I’ll be honest, I did chuckle at Rhodey’s Cheez Whiz joke, but now I regret that. Like being fat is funny, haha look at Thor, he’s out of shape! Uhh yeah he’s depressed! And Rhodey should know better, being friends with Tony, he should know how to handle anxiety and depression. Nobody was really trying to help or even talk to Thor much, they really just wanted him to help them. Like he was clearly struggling, and yet that was used as a joke... it makes me sad. And also Thor never even looked back at Loki? The convo with his mom was nice though. But that reminds me? Was Loki’s infinity war death actually real then? Bc ugh. I’d be more willing to accept him being permanently dead if it wasn’t in such a lame way. Daggers, seriously?? Loki has freakin magic, and he’s smart!! He could have duplicated himself or something, and that type of lame death is so unsatisfying. Also. Captain. Freaking. Marvel. I went to the movie in a Captain Marvel T-Shirt, hers is one of the first actual comics I read, and I loved her movie. I was soooo excited to see her in this movie and become part of the team and to have some really fun banter with everyone. But then she just... disappears for basically the whole movie and hardly speaks at all (thinking about it- I think all the female characters speaking overall was wayyy low compared to mens which is sad) and she blows up the big ship at the end and that’s basically it. She didn’t really join the team, and she could have been so helpful! You’re telling me they didn’t make a way to communicate with her and they didn’t want to include her in their time travel adventures?? She could have had a funny interaction with Nick in 2012, or stopped Nebula from getting taken in 2014, or helped out more overall, idk. But she should have been a bigger part of the team. They hyped her up so much when she was hardly in the movie at all, which was extremely disappointing. Like I feel so cheated about this. This is something I’ll probably be bitter about for a while tbh... ugh she’s a queen and deserves so much more haha. Also Okoye and Wong would have been useful assets for the time travel and yet they were hardly in the movie at all? So many underutilized characters smh.... (Also I know this would be impossible and the point of the movie is for the main Marvel characters but you’re telling me that in 5 years, there was no random like French or Chinese or any other country’s scientist that could have developed time travel or another method of reversing the snap? Or someone from one of the bazillion planets out there? Like there have to have been other smart people/aliens who went all Liam Neeson after the snap and were out for revenge and solutions and they could have come up with something in those five years. But again, I know that wouldn’t work for the movie...) I just feel that a conclusion to the first real era and characters of Marvel should be more satisfying. But that’s just me, I know there are people who are plenty happy with it, and I think that’s valid. These are just my thoughts. Also, that was a long rant but I don’t want to be completely negative. Here’s some things I did enjoy. -Clint’s arc. Again, I felt it was really strong and emotional and hit all the right notes. They did a good job with him and I’m glad he got to go back to his family. -Nebula. She’s grown so much y’all. I do wish she got the final blow on Thanos, and that she clicked the button to go to the present faster so Thanos couldn’t come after them, but other than that I thought her storyline was great. She’s awesome. -That moment with all the female characters after Peter got hurt. I cheered. Marvel has so many amazing women and it was great to see them all together. I kinda wish they were given more lines and screen time though but this moment was super cool. -Morgan was adorable and I love her. -Pepper’s understanding of Tony was also great. She knew he needed to do something if he could, especially for Peter, she’s grown so much and she loves her mans I love her. -Almost the whole 2012 time travel thing was great. Some good humor and nostalgia, it was fun, I really liked it. The Loki alternate timeline would be cool to explore and I wonder if that’s what the show will be about. -Wanda had a great moment against Thanos. -Okay, while I do think that whole final battle was ultimately pointless and could have easily been avoided, the moment when T’Challa and the Guardians and everyone came in through the portals was amazingly epic and beautiful and powerful. The audience cheered and I did too. It was a cool scene. -Tony and Nebula in the ship at the beginning was great. -If Steve isn’t gonna be Cap anymore, Sam deserves it and I’m glad they went with him. -The Ancient One, Frigga, and other’s cameos were pretty cool. I liked those moments. -Tony’s convo with Howard was great. I like that he got a little bit of closure with his dad. There’s probably more but I’ve written a lot so I need to be done haha. The Color Palette Sets

First of all, thank you for the wonderful and kind responses I’ve been getting for making these behind the scenes posts! I’m happy that yall enjoy them. If there were people interested in any kind of tutorial I’d be easily convinced to make one of those as well.

Moving on.

In a state of boredom, I had opened my requests up for 5 slots of this ask meme. Please don’t send more because they were really hard and a couple almost broke me.

Needless to say, I won’t be doing a color palette meme again.

So let’s begin!

Set 1: Tango in #7

After an hour or so of finding a face claim, I liked for my sweet jersey son I set out to source video. I get really picky when I choose fcs because I prefer to use photos and video they chose to upload (which means for faces I won’t use Pinterest or google images). I was really lucky that the model I chose for Tango also had a vlog. After downloading the video and screencapping an array of photos I thought might work, I set to work on actually editing. 

Now here’s why I say I won’t do color palettes again

Every single frame of every single gif had to be recolored. Actually, every single image needed to be recolored to hit as many of the colors in the palette as possible.  

I had to remake the “Are You Lost?” sign to incorporate the pink and added a transparent texture to the “What If” panel to give it something extra. 

I was really quite pleased with how this one turned out!

Set 2: Holsom in #18

When I started this one I realized I didn’t really have an fc for Ransom or Holster or for most of the SMH crew really. So I took a day and started my OMGCP Face Claim List. A list of various fcs for the crew that has a sample photo, person’s name & age, and links to their public social media. At the bottom there’s also links to various modeling agencies where I find most of my fcs and other aesthetic resources. 

After I found a Ransom and Holster I liked I sourced photos and video from Youtube and Instagram. Of course, Ransom had to have salmon shorts and both of them had to be doing something goofy. 

My favorite fun fact about this set is that while the video of Ransom looks pretty serious he’s actually lip syncing a Disney song with a Snapchat filter on top. It’s so perfectly on brand for Holsom. If you click through to the video you’ll see that I again recolored his shirt and the background frame by frame. 

Set 3: Bitty in #17

This was where they really started to get tricky. All of the gifs in this one were recolored. I had a hard time figuring out how to mix these colors in an aesthetically pleasing set together, especially when the first thing I think about with these colors is Christmas. And that really wasn’t what I wanted for the set.  

In the end, I wasn’t as thrilled with this one as the last two. And Bitty fcs are SO HARD. 

Set 4: Georgia Martin in #6

I was able to find an excellent George fc but she didn’t have any video that worked for this set which made it difficult. On top of that, there are only a few things that most associate her with: running, hockey, being a GM, (being queer). 

The Team USA hockey gif is from the 2018 Olympics. I erased the year, Peyongchang, and the player’s number to make it as vague as possible to allow the viewer to assume that it could be George. This was all frame by frame and took near a day and a half. 

It took a few hours and some help from friends to source a running clip like what I was looking for and it still wasn’t exactly what I had in mind. 

Then I had to figure out how to turn being a GM into a visual. It was impossible to find any video of a woman in an office setting. the 2 clips I ended up using were from the press conference scene at the end of Iron Man and a 2-second clip from The Belko Project trailer (the movie is R-rated and I don’t recommend watching the trailer for everyone because of the sheer amount of gore and horror aspects) 

Something I’m happy I included but annoyed it didn’t fit the colors was the bi flag elements. I love them individually and for her but the brightness of the colors made it clash with the rest of the set and because of the significance of the colors, I wouldn’t change them for the aesthetic. 

Set 5: The Surprise aka Zimbits in #9

This request was sent via dm instead of ask so I was able to hold onto it as a treat for myself at the end of making the rest of these sets. 

I didn’t know where to go with this set so I asked one of the discord servers I’m in and they said it felt like beach vibes and that’s the direction I went with. 

Next was digging up beachy photos and video as well as a template to work with. I hadn’t done anything with non-typical templates yet. (typical meaning everything in its own little box). I couldn’t find any beach vibes from the Bitty fcs so I decided to look a little older, especially when the person that requested it writes most of my fav future fics for zimbits. After finding a good Bitty and Jack I set to work for video. I dug through Youtube and Instagram and found a few stock video channels here, here, and here.

Then I spent like 3 hours looking for photoshop brushes that I liked then building my own template with them. These also required a Lot of recoloring but in the end I love the way this set turned out. 

It should also be known that color palettes wouldn’t be as difficult if I wasn’t using gifs. It’s a medium I enjoy and will continue to use but it also has a tendency of making things harder on myself.

Red carpet reviews in Ghana have been on uprise and it is a trend that excites me. Writers are now criticizing what people wear on the red carpet and this is a useful tool to help designers to see their creations from a different perspective. Let us hold each other accountable and that's how we will grow the fashion industry in Ghana industry.

The Glitz Style Awards is an annual award show created to honor people in the entertainment industry for the strides they have made in fashion. We are here for fashion or lack there off that was served on the red carpet and I know you can’t wait to see what we think of everyone’s ensemble.

Debbie opted for a simple white strapless gown with white pleat details on the waist. White was appropriate since she won stylist of the year and most deservedly. I love this outfit on her. Everything she is wearing works. She is wearing her hair in a big afro, her skin is moisturized and the outfit is right. I would have opted for a different color shoe and the length of the dress should have been a tad longer. That would have taken it to the ultimate level but this is very beautiful none the less.

Deborah Vanessa, the African mermaid, gave us a very beautiful dress. Floor length gown with a beaded midsection and a nude illusion fabric that matches her skin tone. Even though this is a feat designers here don't know to match the nude fabric to the color of their clients' skin. This outfit worked for her but if she had kept it to the beautifully beaded short dress it would have been perfect. Less sometimes is more. This dress is by The House of Paon who has been very incognito recently. Looks like he might have been fine tuning his craft.

Our first male entry into the best dressed like is designer Atto Tetteh. This is a beautiful double-breasted green suit. Would have preferred a shorter length because he is not tall and long jackets lengthen the torse and makes you look shorter than you are. The shoes are not the best pairing but they work.

Claudia makes this best-dressed list 50% because of the dress and 50% because of this photo. This photo shows the dress beautifully while the photo she posted on her personal Instagram page wasn't the most flattering for the dress. Is it just me or is the makeup is a bit off? It doesn't look bad, it just looks a tad weird. Correct me in the comments if you think I am tripping.

I have two major questions about this photo; why are there paper bags in the frame and also why is her head tilted that way in all the images of her from the red carpet? But that is neither here nor there because she has every woman green with envy in this beautiful dress. I love the dress. Her hair and makeup, on the other hand, is not the best. Girl blue hair? ugh ugh!

Before you rip my head off this dress is not that bad. If that stiff, shiny, cheap fabric used to make the bow was taken away this is a very simple column dress. But she had to go and add a bow and ruin everything. She still makes the list.

I like this tan suit on Pappy Kojo and that is the only reason he is in this best-dressed list. The suit looks well-tailored and ironed, it will surprise you the number of people in Ghana who go on the red carpet with crumpled clothes. Now let's get into those ugly ass crocs. Why would he do this to such a beautiful outfit? We didn’t even like Balenciaga crocs why would we like the plain ones on the red carpet? Men are truly from Mars. smh!

Everybody loves uncle Chester. He's fun and this look is a perfect representation of him; fun and fashionable. This black ensemble works for him and works for us.

Maia Tafo is only on this list because of his upper body. That black jacket with gold pieces on it is so beautiful to look at. I wish he had paired it with pants of the same color that didn't tapper at the end. Men want to be cool so bad that they will tapper, literally, anything. GIVE IT UP!

I like this dress on Sacha and I see where she is going with this outfit. If she had taken away the tulle at the sleeves of the dress this outfit would have been perfect but the tulle on the sleeve is not working for me.

Anne and Shawn (described as someone's cool friends on the Glitz Africa Instagram page) were the power couple of the night. I think this is the perfect couple outfit. The cutout and high slit on the dress are perfectly placed and show off her body beautifully. Shawn looked dapper in a black tux, black shirt, and a black bow tie. I would have loved a little color to break up the monochromatic nature of the ensemble but this also works fine.

Using horizontal stripes and polka dots in one outfit is daring but I think it works in this instance. Does this look need to be edited, yes definitely, but somehow I do not hate it. I think it is a good enough dress for the red carpet and she looks radiant and comfortable in it.

Zynell "do the MOSTEST" Zuh is one of the people that always want to grab your attention with an over the top outfits on the red carpet. This outfit is the only outfit where she didn't use over 20 yards to create and it is the only outfit that has made it to a best-dressed list that I have written. I have never been so proud. If only she could do a little more editing and left the bag at home but we take our wins where we can.

This a beautiful dress on Lharley and she looks radiant but this is a great example of making sure your dress fits correctly and knowing how to pose in your outfit before you hit the red carpet. For women of a particular size, cutouts are very tricky because if the outfit is a bit tight your body looks like it is spilling out of your dress. You can either get it to fit right or elongate yourself when you are taking photos to smooth out the side.

I love this look from head to toe. The hair looks good, the dress is well fitted and hugging her body, the slit is high and her shoes are tasteful. PS the images on her Instagram are even better than this image.

So there you have it. The creme de la creme of the night. If you didn’t make this year’s list work hard to understand the fundamentals of fashion and then bring a gorgeous outfit to the runway next year. If Sarah Jessica Parker plans her MET Gala outfits months before the first Monday of May, you can do same.

welp anyway here’s a list to keep myself somewhat accountable tomorrow and monday:

put away the hamper full of clean clothes so i can put the new dirty clothes pile on the floor into it

clean off the rest of the dresser so there’s not just piles of stuff on top of the bins i bought to avoid having piles of stuff not all the way clean but i am Working On It

steam iron the new shirt that smells funny but i’m worried is too delicate to wash without a garment bag did this but it still kinda smells like plastic so uhg idk

hang up the other clothes i took down while sorting everything and then just left on my bed in a big ol pile to “deal with later”

clear off the Other large piles of sweaters, purses, worn clothes, books, and who knows what else on my bed while im at it tbh

s o, this au (which tbh started as a whole ass markhyuck au bc im Projecting my gay ass feelings) got a bit out of hand and now i’m in love with it and the idea of punknct. i’ll only give the character outlines 4 now bc wow this got long (n if anyone wants to read it its on ao3) here’s a little more info on the boysbuwu

“DREAM” is a 4 member, grunge-punk band consisting of; donghyuck, jeno, jaemin, and jisung. they play frequently in a venue owned by taeyong and taeil somewhere downtown, nestled between two sketchy looking brick buildings. ironically, they had to wait for jisung to turn 16 before they would actually play there bc the age restriction was “16+” lmao

Jeno (17/18) is the bassist. A Bigg Beefy Bi who’s rlly gay for renmin. He thinks hes cooler than he actually is and is always Flexin’, but he’s got a heart of gold. Has matching nose piercings w hyuck and also got his lip pierced bc hyuck dared him to, and jeno never turns down a dare. his wardrobe is probably 70% sleeveless black shirts, ripped jeans, and plaid, and the other 30% are just hoodies and “punkified” baseball caps. He likes to tell really bad jokes and is ½ of the dumbass duo (the other half is hyuck), and is kind of impulsive, but he’s always doing his best. He rlly likes pda but pretends he doesn’t bc Cool Guys Don’t HugTM (yet he’s one of the clingiest of them… hmmm)

Jaemin (17/18) is the main guitarist and does a lot of vocals w hyuck (mostly backing/support). he’s smooth and suave but also a whole Savage who doesn’t hold back when he’s out to Roast. A Whole Ace with the biggest soft spot for his boyfies, gets shy whenever someone compliments him but he highkey enjoys it. Dangly earrings are his best friend and he has like six of the same my chemical romance baseball-tees. His guitar is his BABY and he refuses to let anyone even breathe in her direction without him supervising, he uses any and every excuse to play because??? guitar is life man. Being on stage is like, his dream, and he had to take a hiatus from it for awhile because he was injured and it really got him down, but now that he’s back he just doesn’t want to stop performing. Likes to tease his dumbass friends whenever they do dumbass things, but is the first to help them out when they need it.

Jisung (16) is the drummer. He joined the band last after his neighbour jeno approached him bc he’s always drumming loudly in his parents garage and they needed a drummer, and he was like, “k”. Pretends to be a badass bc he wants to keep up with the whole “edgy” shtick that’s like, the band’s whole concept, but he does not succeed at all. He’s super protective over his drums bc one of his idiot friends almost set them on fire once, and he’d much rather be playing them then actually going to school or doing homework. Plaid, big sweaters, baseball caps, and skinny jeans are the only things in his closet right now (he used to wear too many band bracelets but the rest of DREAM sat him down for an intervention when he turned 16). He’s actually rlly sweet and cute but he doesn’t take anyones Shit and he will call you out. is a whole baby gay who Totally Does Not have a crush on chenle, totally.

and enter Mark, Renjun, and Chenle

mark (19) is a stressed college freshman who shares a dorm with renjun. he literally stresses about Everything and works way too much, and him, a disaster bisexual, also just wants a boyfie to cuddle. He spends most of his free time hanging out with renjun or sleeping in bed because really, he gets barely four (4) hours most nights. He doesn’t rlly care how he looks, and he likes to be comfortable, so his closet is full of sweaters (that are frequently stolen smh). Cant function without at least one cup of coffee a day. He doesn’t rlly know how to handle cute boys and gets flustered whenever one so much as looks in his direction, is a certified Mess. He especially can’t handle punk-aesthetic boys, those r his weakness

renjun (17/18), the last of norenmin, is a less stressed college freshman who rooms with mark. he’s the True “calm, cool, cute, collected” of the bunch. He’s super fly and he knows how to get what he wants, and he’ll definitely stoop low enough to act cute for bc he knows everyone’s secretly weak for him. He’s DREAM’s number one fan honestly and he doesn’t shut up about them sometimes (especially nomin). Just wants to lather everyone in affection and love (highkey likes it when nomin dote on him too tho), and also just wants to help mark out so he can achieve his Big Gay Dreams. He wears a lot of mix-mashed clothes, and plaid, and is kind of a “troublemaker”, because of all the time he spends with the idiot duo (hyuckno). also doesn’t hold back, he will sugar coat things, but still tell it like it is, he’s a whole Mom Friend.

Chenle (16/17) is renjun’s “cousin” and long-time neighbour. He really likes to stir up trouble bc he knows how to get away with it, and likes to tease his friends (mainly mark), but he loves them a lot. you’re more likely to find him going around town and sneaking out to hang out with Renjun or DREAM rather than doing his homework. is Super Done with his gay ass friends (but also secretly wants to hold jisungs dumb hands). him and jisung are super close and bonded over their awful “emo” phases and mutual love for fall out boy and my chemical romance - he’s also still lowkey not out of that emo phase yet, but don’t tell anyone. he’s rlly the “cheeky little brother” type that nobody can not end up loving.
